This checklist is an evaluation worksheet, rather than a product certification or customer result. Complete it with evidence from your environment. Exclude personal data, real credentials and confidential system names.

## Business scope

- [ ] Define one task, its business owner and the existing bottleneck.
- [ ] Separate AI decisions from rule-based automation.
- [ ] Review standard SAP capabilities, Joule Studio extensions and independent solutions.
- [ ] Identify the separate roles of SAP Integration Suite, n8n and MCP.

## Access and data

- [ ] Verify the SAP version, service access and supported connection path.
- [ ] Define the user role, organizational scope and initial read-only boundary.
- [ ] Test unauthorized users and out-of-scope data.
- [ ] Review actual data flows for model input, output, logs and backups.
- [ ] Identify the approval owner and test rejected approvals for consequential actions.

## Pilot evidence

- [ ] Use the same test task for all candidate solutions.
- [ ] Define answer quality and source-accuracy criteria before testing.
- [ ] Test stopping or escalation when sources are insufficient.
- [ ] Test service failures, retries and duplicate operations.
- [ ] Record a decision to continue, change scope or stop.

## Proposal and operations

- [ ] Separate product licensing, model usage, infrastructure, connector modules and implementation services.
- [ ] Verify availability for the tenant, region, version and service plan.
- [ ] Assign ownership of upgrades, monitoring, support and incidents.
- [ ] Define data/configuration export and recovery methods.

Record: review date, reviewing team, evidence link, open issue, owner and next decision date.
